Delusions or Illusions?

I find it very ironic that the people who preach "once a cheater, always a cheater" are the same ones who stay with a cheater.

"Everything is so wonderful"
"He's not the same person he was"

How delusional can one person be? It would be funny, if it weren't so sad.
